Getting to Jacksonville Oregon

There are a number of ways to get to Jacksonville it just depends where you are coming from! Driving is the most common way to arrive in Jacksonville however the Medford Airport is nearby too. Everything you need and more can be found below. Contact us for more transportation information.

Driving Directions to Jacksonville

Jacksonville is located just 30 miles north of the California and Oregon border and only a couple of miles off of I-5. We are an easy 5 hour drive north from San Francisco and Sacramento and an 11 hour drive north from Los Angeles. Portland is 4 1/2 hours north on I-5 and Seattle is 7 hours north of Jacksonville.

  • From the South: Take I-5 over the CA/OR border and exit at Exit 24 and turn left. Turn right on Hwy 99 and proceed to South Stage Road. Turn left on South Stage and follow the signs to Jacksonville.
  • From the North: exit OR-238 and proceed to Hanley Road and turn left to Jacksonville.

You may also reach Jacksonville from the Northern California Coast by taking US-199 to Grants Pass where it merges with 1-5 South, then exit in Medford onto OR-238 and follow the signs to Jacksonville. From Grants Pass you can also take the scenic route through the Applegate Valley – Highway 238. It will bring you right onto our main street in the middle of town!

Flying to Jacksonville

Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford – We are only 9 miles from the Medford Airport. The most direct route is on the south side of the airport – go left on Bullock Road to Crater Lake Highway (Hwy 62) and turn left. This becomes Highway 238 which brings you directly into Jacksonville.
