Belles & Beaus Society Jacksonville
We are a costumed society membership group dedicated to keeping southern Oregon history alive through education and entertainment. Our period costumes range from Civil War to 1920's specializing in Old West Victorian 1870's to 1890's where we have been representing the historic town of Jacksonville since 2001. We attend various historical events, shows, and activities such as the Butte Creek Mill Vintage Days, Hanley Farm Hoopla, and the Old Wood House Farm Festival. We also present historic fashion shows upon request at libraries and community centers. Our most notable activities are for Jacksonville's Victorian Christmas with the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Christmas Parade and Cider Pouring.
