Jacksonville Garden Club

The mission of the Jacksonville Garden Club is to promote beauty in our community and to conserve our natural resources by advancing the arts of gardening, landscape design, horticulture, and floral design. We also strive to promote education and provide activities that contribute to friendships and enjoyment among our members.

The club is involved in the maintenance of the Jacksonville Post Office's garden area, Scheffel-Thurston Park and the Blue-Star marker and Veterians Memorial Park. The club provides monthly flower arrangements for the chapel at the VA in White City and wreaths in December, plus flower arrangements in May for the Jacksonville Historical Cemetary.

In 2021-2022, the club provided $6,400.00 in educational scholarships.
