Happy Alpaca
Happy Alpaca Toys & Supply is a premium toy and children’s clothing store located in Jacksonville: a small, historic town in Southern Oregon. Happy Alpaca Toys & Supply (or “Happy Alpaca” for short) was founded in early 2022 by Amy Kranenburg and her brother, Aaron Butler. Currently, it is managed by Amy Kranenburg and her family. Located on the intersection of California and Oregon streets in Jacksonville, the Happy Alpaca store occupies a landmark 166 year-old building that is settled among many other local businesses and restaurants, such as the Cotton Broker, La Boheme, Bella Union, and La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant. The “Happy Alpaca” brand was inspired by the Kranenburg family farm's unique, quirky and...happy alpacas.
Happy Alpaca supplies top quality toys as well as premium children’s clothing. Prominent brands available include Lego, Playmobil, Folkmanis, Ravensburger, PlanToys, HABA, Brio, and many more. Additionally, Happy Alpaca supplies youth clothing for all settings/occasions, such as fun shirts for everyday-wear as well as suits and dresses for more formal occasions. Inside the store, there are two main open retail areas. Customers also will find a carefully curated selection of children's literature.
Happy Alpaca believes strongly in the importance of community. Its location is prime for connecting the town of Jacksonville to the joy of play as well as connecting its residents to one another. Happy Alpaca works in coordination with community organizations such as the Britt Festival, the Jacksonville Rotary, and the Craterian Theater to grow Jacksonville’s sense of community - something that Happy Alpaca believes is more important now than ever. Happy Alpaca wishes the best for the town of Jacksonville as well as the broader surrounding community and is optimistic for the future commerce it will generate.
