Chinese New Year isn't the only reason to visit Jacksonville this winter, but it's a good one. There are a host of activities every winter that commemorate the contribution that thousands of Chinese workers made to Jacksonville in its early days. They culminate on Saturday February 13th with a colorful parade through town complete with Chinese dragons. Jacksonville's celebration also includes a host of other activities, demonstrations, and events that make for an exciting and fun-filled day.

Jacksonville has many community events to enjoy year round.
